Curd of my dreams to end a perfect dinner with my dear ones @tracidesjardins @amydevee.
Living our best lives.
I love it when @delta flies in over the city. Thought about dipping out to take a few laps around the Polo Fields. ❤️
Heroes come in many forms.
Tasty ocean treats @contramarmx.
Epic on all counts. 1,876 day old mole was 🤯.
There are so many talented, passionate, and creative leaders on the @beardfoundation long list who I’m thrilled to celebrate this year. As a proud board member of @lacocinasf and partner to the Soigné Hospitality family, I feel compelled to gush extra hard over these three. @dianemyang @reem.assil @nite_nite_nite - thank you for all that you give to nourish and nurture the many communities you’re a part of.

After 8 hours of strategic planning, we did the January version of breaking bread in the Bay Area...cracking Dungeness crab. Miso + fermented chili + butter smothered Dungeness crab, to be specific. I am humbled by @lacocinasf entrepreneurs, staff, and board members. Every moment I spend amongst them is so saturated with learnings, valuable perspective, and refreshing optimism that I pinch myself. I’m so lucky and so grateful to be a part of their family.
Choosing table top pieces is one of my favorite parts of opening restaurants, especially plates, probably because my mom was a ceramicist when she first moved to San Francisco. @ashleylinpottery is so brilliant. Every plate and bowl at @demi.mpls is crafted by her hands and I feel a zing of joy and connection every time I touch a piece of her work.
It’s. All. Happening. @demi.mpls
Every last one of us can do better than give up.
Palpable love from the @anglersanfrancisco team sparked by @ulteriorepicure was so lovely. Surprise reunions with my @thebatterysf crew were divine. Time with @amydevee was BEST. And, the bathroom was...kind of everything.
Refilling my nearly empty taco tank 🤗 🌮
New baby on the way. It’s such a privilege to dream big with the Soigné team.
Reading about kindness, writing about kindness, and experiencing profound kindness at @vinpapillon. Thank you Florence for the generous hospitality (the bread station is the best seat in the house...my humble opinion) and to @richardcossins for the astute recommendation.
If I could give love a name, it would be Madeleine.
Every version of Cafe Boulud feels like home, mostly because @gavinkaysen and I met and started working together at @cafebouludny 11 (!!) years ago. Dinner at @cafebouludto was magical for so many reasons...experiencing it for the first time with @jamieannmalone @annbkool and @dianemyang in the kitchen was a dream.
(2/2) • A physical demonstration of a profit-driven vision of inclusive economic development that can serve as a model for every other city. As commercial and residential costs increase dramatically, it has become impossible to envision a city that works for everyone. The Municipal Marketplace will move towards changing this.
With every passing day, I learn more about how important and impactful gratitude and kindness are. Together, they've become my religion of sorts and so my hope, dear reader, is that on this day, you'll consider celebrating me by joining me in demonstrating that the more of these things you give away, the more they come back to you. My hope is that you'll close your eyes for a moment and think about what we'd do together today if we had the opportunity to see each other and then instead of buying me a glass of Champagne (or a bottle, let's be real), you'll send me whatever happy energy you're feeling and then click the link in my profile and put those dollars in the hands of an organization that is feeding our communities with man'oushe, mole, kuy teav, huaraches, and misos, alongside hope, inspiration, and love. Please leave my name in the comments section of your donation so I know which one of us should be picking up the next Champagne bill 😉. With gratitude and love,
